Pietrzycki City Park – This park is located at the end of S. 1st Street and/or S. 2nd Street. It has playground equipment, unlit baseball and soccer fields, Dayton Pond for juvenile anglers 15 and under (rules and regulations), toddler and youth swings, drinking fountains, benches, picnic tables, tennis court, public restrooms, three park shelters, Dayton Swimming Pool (2011 Pool Season), Radebaugh Rhododendron Garden, Dayton Skate Park, trees and grass. On-street parking and parking lot area. No reservations allowed.

Flour Mill ParkLocated Downtown Dayton along the Touchet River, this park has a gazebo, benches, grass, trees and access to public restrooms. 

Lewis & Clark Trail State Park - is a 37-acre camping park with 1,333 feet of freshwater shoreline on the Touchet River. The park is a rare treasure of old-growth forest and river in the midst of the surrounding arid grassland.

Historic Dayton Pathway – Located in the heart of Dayton, this newly constructed path travels along Commercial Street in Dayton starting at S. 2nd Street and continuing to N. Front Street. This short jaunt passes you by the Historic Dayton Depot, Caboose Park and “Arduous Journey”, a striking bronze statue of Sacajawea created by the late Carol Grende.

Touchet River Dike Path – The Touchet River Dike Path starts at Flour Mill Park and continues south along the beautiful Touchet River. It is a partially paved path and is open year round. The Touchet River Dike Trailway is wonderful for walkers and bicycle enthusiasts alike.

Off Highway Vehicle Opportunities - Want to know what to do with the new Off Highway Vehicle you purchased last year? The Middle Point Ridge Trail #3116 was constructed with motorcycles and ATV's in mind. The lower trailhead is located approximately one-half mile inside the Forest boundary across the North Touchet River. For additional information and maps of the trail, contact the Walla Walla Ranger District at (509) 522-6290. Give it and yourself a workout while enjoying some very beautiful country. The Umatilla National Forest offers Access and Travel Management Maps, free of charge, at all Forest offices.
