CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The objective of the Dayton City Planning Commission is to provide guidance and direction for Dayton’s future growth through continued review, improvements and implementation of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and related land use documents. The Commission also studies and makes recommendations to the Council on a variety of development regulations. The Commission’s goal is to maintain and achieve the highest level of the City’s attributes so that all Dayton citizens can enjoy and be proud to live in this community. Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and Council; the Commission consists of seven members, each serving four- year terms.
Meeting Schedule 2010
Planning Commission meetings are generally held the 3rd Monday of each month at Dayton City Hall in the Council Chambers, 111 S. 1st Street, Dayton, WA. Meetings start at 5:15 p.m. and community members are encouraged to attend.

(Note: Agendas are usually available on the Thursday afternoon preceding a scheduled Planning Commission meeting.)
