Request for Statement of Qualifications
For City Attorney Services

The City of Dayton is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) and performance data from professional law firms or individuals to provide a full range of municipal legal services as the City of Dayton City Attorney on a part-time, contractual basis.  A complete Request for Statement of Qualifications for City Attorney Services may be obtained by contacting Trina Cole, City Clerk-Treasurer at 111 S. 1st Street, Dayton, WA 99328, (509) 382-2361, tcole@daytonwa.com or at www.daytonwa.com.  

Please submit seven (7) copies of your SOQ by3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 to the City of Dayton, 111 S. 1st Street, Dayton, WA 99328.  The general format of the SOQ is left to the discretion of the submitter.  The SOQ will be reviewed and used as a source from which to select one or more qualified firms to provide City Attorney services as stated above for the period beginning no later than March 14, 2012.

2012 CITY OF ROSTER OF VENDORS

The City of Dayton has established a Roster of Vendors and is now accepting applications from any interested vendors for its Roster of Vendors. This list will be utilized for the purchase of materials, supplies or equipment in an amount between $7,500 and $15,000 and not connected to a public works project throughout 2012.  Interested businesses may apply at any time.  A list of service categories and applications for the Roster of Vendors may be obtained from the City of Dayton,111 S 1st St., Dayton,WA99328, (509)382-2361, www.daytonwa.com or by emailing cityclerk@daytonwa.com. 

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, the City of Dayton hereby notifies all contractors that they will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to any invitations and will not be discriminated against on grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.

ACCEPTANCE PERIOD FOR DECEMBER 14, 2011 – DECEMBER 13, 2012

ANNUAL REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS ON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS/ZONE CHANGES/ZONE TEXT CHANGES 

The City of Dayton invites applications to amend the City of Dayton’s Comprehensive Plan and development regulations each year.  Amendments may include:

·       Changes to the Comprehensive Plan policies or text, or

·       Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan map and/or Zoning map

·       Amendments to the Dayton Municipal Zoning Code Text Changes

Such amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, zoning or other development regulations shall be heard collectively at one time, and only once, during a given calendar year so that the cumulative effective of the various proposals can be ascertained.
