The objective of the Dayton Planning Commission is to provide guidance and direction for Dayton's future growth through continued review, improvements and implementation of the City's Comprehensive Plan and related land use documents. The Commission also studies and makes recommendations to the Council on a variety of development regulations. The Commissions goal is to maintain and achieve the highest level of the City's attributes so that all Dayton citizens can enjoy and be proud to live in this community.
Planning Commission meetings are generally held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Columbia County Planning Office, 114 S. 2nd Street, Dayton, WA. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and community members are encouraged to attend.
