Meeting Notes

Columbia County is in Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington: Roadmap to Recovery Plan. Public meetings fall under the category of “Miscellaneous Venues”. Given the state-mandates to enable in-person meetings, the following requirements will be enforced:

• Physical attendees must wear their mask at all times.
• Windows will be open during the meeting for ventilation – consider bringing a jacket to stay comfortable.
• Tables/chairs are spaced three feet apart. They should not be moved or adjusted.
• Hand sanitizer is readily available and should be used upon entering and existing the meeting space.
• The Director of Planning & Community Development is considered the “COVID-19 Program Supervisor” and is required to enforce social distancing and mask requirements. Please comply at all times.

The meeting space at City Hall is quite limited for capacity, so public participants are encouraged to attend via Zoom. If, at any point, the meeting room exceeds capacity, the meeting will have to be canceled, postponed, and/or reschedule.
